Interactive A/V System (Synapse): A complex Audio and Video Synthesis System that works with both mediums simultaneously. The Block Diagrams providedshow how the system's signal path worked and how the audio and video interacted. At the time, this kind of system was expensive and completely unobtainable for the likes of you and me, but now this could be easily patch up (or a hodge podge version of it) with what you have in your A/V studio.
